Spodumene is a very important lithium-bearing ore, mainly divided into chemical, ceramic, low iron three different types. Spodumene has a variety of colors, from white to light green, yellow-green, yellow-brown, and then to blue, blue-green, purple and other different colors, from transparent to slightly transparent, glass luster, widely distributed in the world, mainly in Brazil, the United States, China and so on.
Spodumene grinding is an essential part of its production process. In order to realize its comprehensive utilization, combined with the main mechanism of spodumene, a special grinding equipment with high efficiency, namely spodumene ball mill, has been produced.Spodumene ball mill is mainly composed of feeding part, discharging part, rotary part, transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, electric control) and other main parts.
Spodumene ball mill is a horizontal cylindric rotary device with outer gear drive and two-chamber type ball mill. Spodumene materials enter the first chamber of the mill uniformly through the feeding hollow shaft through the feeding device. There are stepped lining boards or corrugated lining boards inside which are loaded with steel balls of different specifications. After coarse grinding in the first compartment, the materials enter the second compartment through single-layer compartment board. The compartment is inlaid with flat lining board and steel balls. The materials are further ground and the powder is discharged through the grate board to complete the grinding operation.

- the grinding body through special design, with stronger grinding ability, can effectively reduce the wear rate, prolong the life, but also can greatly provide equipment grinding efficiency, reduce energy consumption;
- Compared with other traditional ball mills on the market, the price of this equipment is lower, and the cost recovery speed is very fast, which can create greater economic benefits for customers.
