Lepidolite is the most common lithium mineral and is an important mineral for lithium extraction. It is a basic aluminosilicate of potassium and lithium, which is a kind of mica minerals. Lepidolite is generally only produced in granite pegmatites. Regardless of the production process of lithium-related products, it is necessary to crush and grind lepidolite into powder first, so as to decompose lepidolite and dissolve lithium in it to the greatest extent. The commonly used lepidolite crushing equipment is impact crusher.

The lithium mica crusher is a machine that uses the high-speed impact of the blow bar and the rebound of the impact plate to make the material crushed by repeated impact. The blow bar is fixed on the high-speed rotating rotor, and several counter-attack plates are arranged at different angles along the crushing cavity.
Lepidolite crushers use impact energy to crush materials. When the material enters the blow bar area, it is crushed by the high-speed impact of the blow bar, and is thrown to the impact device installed above the rotor to be crushed again, and then rebounds from the impact liner to the blow bar area for re-crushing. This process is repeated until the material is crushed to the required size and discharged from the lower part of the machine. Adjusting the gap between the impact frame and the rotor frame can achieve the purpose of changing the particle size and shape of the material. Compared with the hammer crusher, the lepidolite crusher has a larger crushing ratio and can more fully utilize the high-speed impact energy of the entire rotor. However, because the blow bar is extremely easy to wear, it is also limited in the application of hard material crushing. It is usually used for coarse crushing, medium crushing or fine crushing of limestone, coal, calcium carbide, quartz, dolomite, iron sulfide ore, gypsum and chemical raw materials. Brittle materials below medium hardness.
