The equipment used are jaw crusher, cone crusher, vibrating screen, ball mill, flotation machine, etc. After crushing, the gold ore enters the ball mill for fine grinding, and then becomes pulp and then enters the flotation machine for flotation. In the flotation process, sodium carbonate is used as a regulator, and butyl xanthate and nigrosine are used as collectors. The flotation method cannot produce finished gold, and can only enrich gold into various sulfide concentrates at most. Therefore, a single flotation process is generally not used, but flotation is used as one of the combined processes.

The money is less and the process is simple, but the harm to the environment is greater. The initial steps of the amalgamation method are crushing and grinding as in the flotation process. When grinding the ore, sodium carbonate, caustic soda, etc. should be added, which can effectively improve the recovery rate of mercury and gold.

The process of gold extraction by carbon slurry method prevailed in the 1980s, and is especially suitable for the separation of gold-bearing limonite oxide ore. The carbon slurry method uses activated carbon for adsorption on the basis of oxidative leaching, which can improve the leaching rate of gold. The technological process is crushing and grinding, the overflowing product of the puller, and then entering the thickener, and then entering the leaching adsorption tank through the buffer tank to carry out the leaching operation. The tailings are screened with high frequency to recover the gold in the crushed activated carbon, and then the cyanide-containing tailings are treated with liquid chlorine.

The gold extraction process by cyanidation includes several basic processes such as cyanidation leaching, washing and filtration of leaching pulp, extraction of gold from cyanide solution or cyanide pulp, and smelting of finished products.

Heap leaching of gold is suitable for large-scale, low-grade gold ore. This excellent process is to first use amalgamation to recover coarse-grained gold in the ore, and the amalgamation tailings are flotated.
