The crushing and separation of iron ore is a crucial process in the production of iron and steel. In some cases, flotation is also employed to separate the iron minerals from the gangue minerals. This process involves adding specific chemicals to create a froth that selectively attaches to the iron minerals, allowing them to be separated from the gangue.
Once the iron minerals are separated, they are further processed through various steps to produce iron ore concentrate, which is then used in the production of iron and steel.
