Cobalt is a kind of magnetic hard metal with high melting point, high stability, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. The material is an important raw material for the manufacture of superalloys, hard alloys, ceramic pigments, catalysts and batteries.
Cobalt resources are mainly produced in copper and cobalt ore, nickel and cobalt ore, arsenic and cobalt ore, pyrite and other mineral resources, but the amount of single cobalt ore is rare, and the distribution of cobalt ore is not uniform in the world, cobalt resources in China is also very scarce. Because it is stored in such small quantities, its processing is particularly important.
In the process of raw ore processing, must use grinding, grinding and other machinery. Cobalt ore is a kind of metal, its hardness is higher than the general ore, generally to choose 2~3 stages of crushing equipment. The crushing and grinding process of cobalt ore can refer to the crushing and grinding process of lithium ore.
- Coarse crushing equipment — jaw crusher
After the raw cobalt ore is mined, the volume is large, and it must be roughed with a jaw crusher to crush the large chunk of ore to medium size at one time, and the discharge size of the jaw break is generally 10-30 cm.
- Medium crushing equipment — single cylinder hydraulic cone crusher
The cobalt ore broken out of the jaw is sent into the coarse cone break to continue to break. It is recommended to choose hydraulic cone break. The hydraulic system has better performance than the spring system, and the efficiency and output are greatly improved, and the maintenance is more convenient later.
- Fine crushing equipment — multi-cylinder hydraulic round cone crusher
Coarse cone broken cobalt ore into fine cone broken further broken, output 30-50mm below the material can be directly into the grinding machine for grinding processing.
- Grinding equipment — vertical grinding machine
Next is the grinding link, metal ore powder can choose vertical roller mill or ball mill, can grind small pieces of cobalt ore into fine powder, for mineral processing and extraction of fine powder.
