We like to think its our mission as a company to cater to the Quarry industry’s every need and every soft rock quarry needs one of these. Every demolition contractor needs one too. You just don’t know it yet.
Its a 2002 Hitachi HR1000 Rolls crusher (1700 hours) and to get some understanding of how it works you need to go to the photos below and look at the internal sketch we’ve put up.
Its the second of its type in the country that we know of and it is a real performer. Hitachi say it will crush 70TPH but we have tested it for 100 hours on “as ripped” shell rock and it did 120tph at 50mm end product.
This crusher excels where other types will break you. It will allow you to get the best out of ANY soft rock, especially if its damp or has a large percentage of fines, coal, limestone, shale, rotten rock, demolition concrete and absolutely awesome on ASPHALT recycling. etc. No more clogging, no more stopping for rain or waiting for a dry spell, no more having to screen first to be able to process it.
In reality, its an ugly bugger of a thing and nobody could claim otherwise. On the other hand, its a bit like an ugly person (like me for example) it can’t rely on its good looks to succeed, it actually has to work and work much better than any other. This is exactly what it does.
I’ll say these points again, but I’ll write them so you can show them to me at any time during your ownership
At the end of a 10 hour day of crushing demolition concrete straight off a building, no other crusher will have a bigger stockpile of good graded size product on the ground than the HR1000.
No other crusher will have performed so quietly and with so little dust. Not even close.
No other crusher will have dealt with the rebar, wood contamination, tramp iron, plastic, mud, and other crap as well as the HR1000, not even close.
No other crusher will be as simple to operate all day long – one button press after engine start and it is all automatic – all day.
No other crusher will produce saleable aggregates as cheaply as the HR1000, including all costs from – pre-treatment to final – not even close.
No other crusher can process asphalt, road millings, road excavations as well as the HR1000 can – not even close.
They’re pretty big statements and there are a lot more I could make too, about processing other products, but I think you’ll get the point. The main point is that I know the other crushers because I have (and still do) own them, tested them, operated them, hired them and sold them. I know exactly what they’ll do.
