Aggregates play a filling and scaffolding role in concrete, forming loose particles that enhance the durability and stability of concrete. So the aggregate production line is the production process of producing sand and gravel aggregates. Granite, limestone, basalt, river pebbles and other stones are generally crushed into different sizes of sand and gravel aggregates through processes such as coarse crushing, medium and fine crushing, and screening. Different sizes of aggregates have different applications, and in short, there is a large market demand.

Equipment selection for sand and gravel aggregate production line
There are three main types of equipment selection and matching commonly used by sand and gravel aggregate manufacturers:
- Jaw crusher + impact crusher;
- Jaw crusher + cone + crusher + sand making machine;
- Mobile jaw crusher + Mobile impact crusher/cone crusher
Process flow of aggregate production line
Primary crushing of stone materials: Materials smaller than 150mm do not need to be crushed and can directly fall onto the belt and enter the primary storage yard; Materials larger than 150mm are crushed by a jaw crusher (discharge port 150mm), and the crushed material enters the primary storage yard.
Secondary crushing of stone: After coarse crushing, the stone reaches the secondary crusher and can be crushed using counterattack or cone crushing. Stones larger than 31.5mm enter the secondary crusher for crushing, while materials smaller than 31.5mm are screened into three specifications: 0-5mm, 5-13mm, and 13-31.5mm.
Sand screening process: The main raw materials for sand production are a mixture of 0-5mm, 5-13mm, and some 13-31.5mm. They enter the sand making machine for crushing and sand production, and are transported by belt to the three-layer vibrating screen. Materials larger than 5mm are returned to the sand making machine for further crushing (which can also be sold as precision processed stones), while the remaining materials are divided into 3-5mm and less than 3mm materials.
